SOMETIMES NO WORDS COME by kitkat

Sometimes no words Come
Just a blank page stares back
A street light flashes changing view
No words spring only a lack
It's cold in my room and too dark
The page stays empty and restless
I stare blankly at the lines which guide
The silence cruel and relentless
I write something which jumbles thoughts
Nothing makes sense as I try and write
This infatuation I have with tedious words
Makes my life make sense and makes right
So, I stick to writing as words flicker
The light flicks bright as inspiration shines
As half attempted stanzas mould into one
I throw together rhythms and half rhymes
Just to do as you asked me to do
But then I question your reading of this
Do I do this to please me or to please you?
