Soft bed under us, you fill my strong arms, our breathing the only sound in the room. Hand in hand our heartbeats sync. Fingers entwined hoping you feel my love for you.
Our bodies pressed close sharing our warmth. Nuzzling my face against your back, I whisper, “You’re my sun and stars, the only light shining on my world. Thank you for bringing your radiance into my life, and bringing me out of my shadowy existence.”
I feel you move closer, pressing our bodies tighter together. My hand squeezing yours reassuringly, I smile knowing you have chosen to trust me, knowing how hard it is for you to give your trust to someone. My breath caresses your cheek and ear as I lean over to speak softly, “Your trust I’ll hold dear to my heart, I’ll do my best to keep all harm from you and yours as long as I’m in your life. And I’ll never betray your trust boo, on my honor I swear. I love you so much my sweet dream come true.”
Kissing your cheek as I feel your mind go on to a realm of dreams, I smile down and brush your hair out of your face and lay down once more. Letting our hearts sync up once more, I hold you in my warm arms and allow the sandman to lead me to a land which was once better than real life, till I met you.
