A table, a chair, a door a fist,
Her blood stained tears as sits and cries,
Wondering why the person she loves, adores so much can do the things he does,
She stands alone with no one to help,
The fear she has at every knock bang or noise,
How she longs to be saved, from his cruel hands.
She cries at night with her head in the pillow,
Thinking and looking for an escape,
Amongst all the bruises the cuts and her scars, she still holds a smile as bright as the stars,
She sits alone like a frightened little girl
Waiting and wondering what will be his next move,
The door opens and she tries to hide
The shadow sees before eyes, is not that of her abuser but a tall dark man with love in his eyes,
He goes over to lifts her head up
He see she been crying and wipes the tears away,
He pulls her to her feet looking lovingly into her eyes
He whispers to her softly " your safe now my lovely"
She looks at him and smiles takes his hand and leaves,
For her Romeo came and rescued her.
