The things I do for you both, for no one else I would

Because you run off fast and off you go

I wish I could be with you every second of the day

But I can't be selfish, things just can't go my way

I wish I could protect your precious little hearts

So many things to teach you but I don't know where to start

People will tell you a lot of things and only some will be true

Which ones you want to believe my boys I hope you're smart enough to choose

I want you to know, life is not always about the fight

I'm doing to my best to keep strong and teach you wrong from right

There are memories I don't ever want you to forget
