IT'S MIDNIGHT by kitkat

It's midnight
The day before the day
Everything is up in smoke
With no time for church to pray
All wait for that call
I'll be waiting all day I fear
All I want from that day
Is to hold all loves near
As people hustle around me
Smiling to and fro
I want to smack their grins away
I want laughter and cheer to go
Do I need to feel this way
Or am I spiting all for sake
It's just this year not those before
This year too much to take
So sleep with my sour friend I will
Miss all throughout the day
I'll coma myself with drugs of which
Will make my head spin and play
Yet I know I can't or won't to take
As a call I might get on hope
A waiting game I see upon
On jagged tears I'll cope
So merry Christmas all I know
Enjoy your festive grace
And this will be the last I swear
You'll look upon this crying face
The liquor is set and poured to take
And smiles painted hard
So in festive cheer I wish to you all
That from no bars you'll be barred
