LONG WEEKEND by cinnamon *

Her eyes opened... able to glance around, she recognized her surroundings, there was a familiar scent in the air, it was comforting. She felt the warmth of a blanket over her, as she slowly turned her head to peer out the window that she has done so many times before. She was in her own bed, the alarm had not gone off yet, but she knew it would soon and her week, as mundane as she anticipated it would be, was about to begin. She closed her eyes. As she lay there, the daily routine cycled in her head; shower, breakfast, get dressed, go to work... everyday it was the same thing. She didn't mind her work, or the routine even, the commute was torture, but isn't everyone's she thought as the alarm kicked on. Her eyes opened... She hit the snooze button, and closed her eyes.

Her mind wandered, it danced over the memories of the past weekend. Her heart began to beat ever so slightly faster, she could feel a bead a sweet forming between her breasts. She came straight home from work the past Friday night, excited. No one around, her cat stretched and walked past her as if looking for a ghost. She looked around, walked to the fridge for some water and sat in her favorite recliner. The oversized chair held her frame just the way she liked, it was her favorite spot in the house, just in front of a large bay window where she could feel the sun's warmth wash over her. She sat there all night reading until it was time for bed. Saturday came and went... slowly, with baited breath she waited for her cel to ring, it never did. She did not go out, she did not watch tv, she did not clean. She sat in her favorite recliner, reading until it was time for bed. Sunday mirrored Saturday in a similar fashion, save, it went much slower. She had finished her book and there was no sun. She hoped the clouds would burst tears to reflect her own. She was growing more and more desperate for he phone to ring, she had checked it several times over the last two days to ensure that in fact it was even on. She paced the floor and brushed the cat. She tried to fill the empty time with menial tasks that lasted no more than ten minutes. She sobbed uncontrollably now, the warm tears ran down her cheeks. The day dragged on until it was time for her to go to bed.
The alarm clock kicked off for the second time and again she hit the snooze... She laid in bed thinking about the weekend... She knew... Her phone, the one her body craved to ring all weekend jumped into life!!! Her eyes opened... A text message had come through...

"your punishment is over, I will see you tonight, be ready!" She quickly replied to the text as she has been trained to.

As she laid in bed, her eyes wide open, she felt her eyes swell with happiness and she smiled. She smiled a smile so big that it hurt.
