Standing at the edge of the world
I look back at all I knew
I have now been abandoned
As I stand alone without you
A gust of wind reminds me
I'm about to lose it all
I stare down at my blank screen
Not a text or a single missed call
I look away and down to my future
Smiling at my heart's race of pace
I close my eyes to feel something
But all I feel is utter disgrace
I let go of all my fears tonight
As I fall down to the shore
Perhaps in doing so
I will feel so much no more
But you were there to catch me
In your arms I lie today
And in this precious action
You did everything I wished for you to say
