The flame flickers,
The candle is alight
Life begins!
It burns slowly, steadily, surely
Life goes on!
It flickers in the breeze,
Wavering, unsure
Life has its ups and downs!
It continues burning,
Stronger than ever
Life is good!
It burns slower, a smaller flame,
Flickering at the slightest change
Life is coming to an end!
It goes out
Life has ceased!
