One silvery blue gossamer strand
Was our connection at the start
Drawn together by strength of mind
And by strength of heart
More time we spent together
Turned it into two
It was then we started to understand
That our simple love was true
Gradually a stream was built
Hundreds of strands combined
Our bond together stronger still
Connecting heart, soul and mind
Now we have a river
Traversing across the land
Those gossamer fine blue connectors
Entwining like our hands
Eventually we will build an ocean
Connecting me and you
Never together, but never apart
The expanse of our love so true
