She pulled back the dark crimson curtains Looking out into the night. She sees her reflection and wonders if that's what other see. Not noticing the lights of the city she continues to stare at herself, her long legs seem to go for miles. What is it that other sees that she does not. Her legs, she's always enjoyed the length and shape of her legs. She looks down and sees a tattoo on her leg. Memories of a loved one past, memories of the life shared. Even though that life is over the memory always lingers. Looking forward to a new beginning she knows that one day she will see what others see in her. Looking back up through the window still seeing her reflection she knows she needs to look deeper, pass the outward appearance and into her own soul. ~~ sui
