Lost in the moment, a place so far away
As time stands still she wondered why? how did She let herself get like this.
A happy home a loving husband or so She thought.
Instead She has constant memories and flash backs of an evil past.
The beatings the bruises the 'I'll never do it again baby i promise'
Yet each and every time She goes back knowing he won't change.
The constant cries the begging to stop. The evil look in his eye as he slams his fist down onto her again & again.
The memories so painful She barely feels like living.
But there is a light at the end of the tunnel. For She has not let this māń tear her down. She built herself up from the past that once was now she is happy and has learned the meaning of love...
