This portal we see in front of us opens a whole new world, yet it teases me with a false closeness to you. It allows my breath to be taken away, allows me to fall in love, but when you are hurting and I just wanna hold you, it laughs in my face. It allows us to find the people to make us happy, yet chuckles in glee when that person is down and we are too far to help. This portal is amazing and yet loves to torture us. But I will win over it. I will one day hold you in my arms and it will sit alone and dark. One day it will be able to look you in the eyes pouring out my love and it will be covered in dust. One day I’ll be able to watch you smile and it will be the one to watch, useless and decrepit.
