Your leaving broke her heart
Left her sad and lonely inside.
you left a mess to be cleaned up
a task to which i happily obliged.
I often wondered why
you ever left her side.
Such an amazing girl
that you gave up
And gave away.
but talking to you these past days
Helps me understand.
You did only what You needed
You did what was best for You.
I can feel the conflict in your soul
see it in your eyes.
Trying to figure out who you are
deep down inside.
I know that it hurt you
as much as it did her.
But you only want to see
the you who lies inside.
you had to leave to find it
the girl you want to be.
I only hope your happy
and will always happy be.
